  MrPineapple|Research II: oil deposites are very rare in the nation, with only a few tens of tar pits known (still useful and could be exploited), the tar from these has yet to be used. pemmican allows for far longer journies, with litte need to resupply. copper rods are being used to support larger buildings, allowing for greater stability in huge strucures although it is very expensive.

  MrPineapple|Agriculture II: ditches and ponds are being dug by the sides of farmland, supporting their own small ecosystems and enriching the surrounding soil with some nutrients and leading to healther surrounding plants and a suppky of small fish. old diches from the swarm wars and fire breaks can be reused as these, allowing them to be created with ease.

  MrPineapple|Agriculture: Uses are being found for most if not all parts of hunted animals, allowing less to be wastes, more to be eaten and useful materials to be used in other industries. leather cushions are being used to reduce discomfrot while riding.

  MrPineapple|Education: aiming to build a school in every town will be quite an undertaking, especially during such a time of economic damage, it is underway. in areas where schools have not been constructed yet desegnated areas are used as centres of education (like the town square). sending the military to inspect every town will be very difficult and pointless, occasional inspections are occuring though.

  MrPineapple|research: due to the damage done to your nations infrastructure, connectivity and people research will be slowed for an order or two. clear glass can now be made and used, although it requires an expert at the craft to actually produce it. simplistic automation in crop watering allows for slightly less labour intense agriculture. extremely distilled, in fact almost pure alchahol allows for a sort of anestetic, but imbibing such pure alchahol can damage the patient's health.

  Loiosh42|To reduce overcrowding in the packed lakeside cities excess population(the poor, homeless and minor criminals) have been moved, either through encouragement or force, to the grasslands, setting up small towns in the wild grassy fronteer. the military is receving additional weeks of training per year. regional schools and universities bult in key population centres or around observetories allow for a larger amount of the population to recieve a higher (or any) education.
