your peoples technology and capabilities are too weak to cut many paths through the very thick jungle, but small pathways through the jungle between villages are being created. but this is difficult as teams cutting the paths tend to vanish. deseased parents are being sterilised, generally through very poor techneques leading to possible infection.a team of hunters, composed best, and also some of the most worthless, people in your tribe are being sent to clear the drafrodons from your lands.

Redfrogcrab: a written language has been created, written as you said it was (compacted to save space). the cats are too wild to be trained in things like messaging. large fortified walls are being built around large villages to keep out drafrodons and other predators. smaller villages population are being evacuated to the larger fortified villages, but this may lead to overcrowding in the large villages.

Vrigorix: a few more tribes have been encountered on the southern planes, they seem to live in large settlements, larger and more complex then your tree villages, and survive via farming and consuming the products of domesticated animals, they seem a few centuries ahead of your people. not much about their culture is known as they were only recently encountered (you will need to send scouts) but they seem to be organised into small "kingdoms".
