send hunters to gather leather and bone, and start expirementing with tanning,begin irrigating small areas off rivers and streams to plant edibles, try to plant orchards and groves from any trees in the grasslands

send a party south-east to collect flint to make better tools, try to breed/tame the elkvskik as companions and hunters, begin working on reaserching stonework and masonry, try to find uses for nearby plants(especialy foods and poisons), begin making javelins with fire-hardend tips, build semi-fortified stone houses and reaserch the best way to make roads.
