Misc: encourage ordinary citizens to invent contraptions that do stuff. What they do, i do not care. If found useful enough, then we can employ the person to build more or pay them for the blueprints, or reward them in some other way. And make a research branch dedicated to making mechanical contraptions that one can join if they want to make a profession out of it, as a sort of engineering branch. Also work on math systems, for calculating volumes of matter and physics.
Build: Basic government buildings where officials will work for better productivity.
Research +: More easy to carry but still stable catchbows. Make a proper trigger mechanism and find ways to make them more powerful.
