  weak alchaholic beverages are being mass produced and distrubuted among the population. strong painkilling herbs are being cultivated, although the herbs have some sideeffects of their painkilling abilities, such as enducing euphoria and being mildly addictive. a combined herb pulp is being used to treat wounds. copper coins are being forged, and are used much like silver coins. craftsmen are being encouraged and trained to create tings of the highest quality, with those that fail being fined.

  Bees: wild honey bees have been partially domesticated. wild hives are moved into tended clearings, their honey being gathered after the wild bees have been smoked.

  book making methods are being changed, creating more resilient books. a "guld of scribes" has been established. "These scribes will reprint books, endangered books taking priority." pidgeons have been trained to act as messengers. a small nework of these birds has been created. but only for emergency messenging. berry wines have been made, but wine making is a new process and the wines are weak and sour.

  some archers are under going further training, making them elites of their field. some of the more placid bovines are being used as mounts (they have a tendancy to throw off riders). armour is being further improved. watchtowers are being constructed on high pinnicles and hills. a long dirt path to the lodinian capital has been constructed.

  roads are being further improved, with many roads being paved over with cobbles. small rest stops, huts with some supplies, a bed and gardens. some of these rest stops are permenantly inhabited while others are not. these rest stops are being set up across majour roads at a spacing based on the length it would take someone to travel for a day.

  mines are being dug deeper into the mountain, although work is slow due to lack of any hard metal tools. many steep ventilation shafts are being dug. a few extremely rich coper veins have been discovered in the deepest mines, and a few tons of rich coper ore have been extracted. bows with elaborate silver decorations for people of high status are being made. the bovines have been further domesticated, and are now tamer (although still quite agressive) and are of slightly smaller size.
