  your starting area is a large rocky mountinous region, covered in grasses and woody shrubs but lacking any large trees. migrating herds of animals are commen and the climate is mostly unchanging throughout the year. whater can only be found from streams flowing from the mountains, but these are commen and are the only places farmland and drinking water can be found. also there are many accesable minerals and ores in your area.
