a variety of medicinal herbs are being gathered from the lakeshore for simple cures, but most are ineffective medicine. a wall of felled trees is being construced around your capital to keep out wild beasts. larger paths are being built between settlements, but they are difficult to maintain and do not connect to your border settlements atall.
farming settlements are being built in large clearings in the northwestern forest, which is far sparser then normal. but due to their distance to your primary nation they are poorly developed and vunerable to attack from wild beasts. the forest around the lakes are being cleared for farmland, but the soil is stony and poor for farming. your nations agricultural practices are still quite simple, and the benifit of crop rotation is far beyond their knowledge.
platforms of weaved wood and reeds are being used to fish in deeper parts of the lake. small homes are being carved into the mountain, but this is a slow process.
Watboi1: small scouting groups are exploring near your nation's borders for anything of interest. your nations goverment is now a monarchy (and has been for centuries). a noble council has been formed, but due to your nations lack of wealth it is mainly composed of rich farmers, and rarely takes part in government. a council representing most professions has been created to advise your monarch, but as with the nobles they rarely meet, and are far off from a council of guilds.
connorhatescorn: there is a rule(mostly so there can be alot of nation interaction and an era of colonisation) that you can only start on the southen supercontinent, so pick a new location.
Redfrogcrab: can you compact your orders slightly next post, try to post 500 word blocks not small paragraphs as this neatens the order section
