Not really. For example, all fox countries have matriarchy as dominating system, and it's a bit exaggerated matriarchy. Males aren't allowed to vote, or have a good-payed job, the most they can do is to be housewives (or househusbands, if you want), or cooks, or maids. More than that, they rarely fight for their rights - they know any riot is doomed. So, I doubt it really reflects our culture, males and females have pretty balanced rights in our society.
