It's not cannibalism, they're different species, why does everyone ask that? Here, foxes are Mary Sues, they have all the qualities I want them to have, and therefore, they are outbalancing their rival nation. Like with scientist I mentioned, who has the sympathy - wins. And it's even watered down, I made all characters female not just because it's cool and cute, but also because if they were males, they would be hyper-overpowered versions of myself, and that's boring.
Remember, I'm not criticizing, I'm just offering suggestions and asking for answers.
More like bounty hunters than soldiers.
Now of course, I don't know the backstory, but I wasn't sympathetic toward the foxes. In just this little bit, I've seen phycological and physical torture, cannibalism(? Is that considered cannibalism? this heavily depends on backstory.) and apperant warmongering, since they're hunters. Now of course, there are probably in universe explanations, but they haven't won my favor. Stylistically, see foxes as silent strikers, who kill immediately, and never enter fights they can't win.
There are too many in-universe reasons to conclude them in one word.
In-universe, the reason why they're fighting is one of the things I can't really name. In reality, hares are perfect enemies for foxes, as foxes are predators and hares are prey. The initial concept of the whole comic came from an idea of a very bizzare game.
I agree on that front, I just wonder what the individual values are. Why are they fighting? Do they have any real reasons?
The good guys, or gals, to be precise, are foxes, but honestly, I don't think there is such a division at all. None of sides is good or bad - one has my sympathy and other has not.
So who are the "good" guys here? I honestly don't know much about either side's values.
