Judging by the visually confirmed Russian equipment losses and considering the towns filled with now dead civilians it would not be out of question that there have been retreats. -

It might be a bit early to say the entire western flank has withdrawn, reporting I've seen doesn't have that gone yet but it shows significant ground gained by Ukraine as Russia withdraws from cities around Kyiv. -
