Specifically, you exibited a lack in care about the process in which you came up with your math. Some scientists do this to fabricate the result they want. I think everyone here just wants you to be more careful in the future, and not spread bad practices that others may follow.

I think muzau is right. While the topic doesn't seem particularly serious, doing lazy math is a habit. Math in all sciences, has you implementing math, not as the beginning of your answer, but the end. Improperly formatting your math is the primary problem here. The current scientific community is plagued with a multitude of problems with accuracy due to the structure of reward for scientific discovery. This is a very serious problem and you happen to be an easy example of this behaviour.

@Noah Kerman please don't spread additional pseudoscience in a post that is already misinformative

It is of no concern to me whether it was done for fun or not. OP claimed they did the math, the math is wrong. it is that simple. It is on the front page and it should be in BOLD that this is not how you would construct this problem in any setting, fun or not.

@superbantom it does matter when people see things like this and take it as fact, and then go on replicating these failures in understanding.

That's not good way to measure size in TPT because speed of photons is not constant. It can be changed to any value with ease. It's not even the fastest natural speed as falling uranium can accelerate faster then light for example.
