Agriculture/Animals: Create aviaries to farm smaller unintelligent birds (like finches or pidgeons) and start selectively breeding the rodents for high bith rates and litter sizes.

Economy+ : Set up trade routes used by haulers between large towns and create small canoes to move between the rivers and lakes of the island.

Economy/education: Create a guild system, with business owners being able to set tasks for rewards. set up guilds for haulers, blacksmiths (armourers, weaponsmiths and jewelers), mercenaries, and foresters (more like animal tamers), and set up education with different tracks for each profession (mostly but not just guild jobs).
