panels on ships are exactly radiators -

A suggestion for further creations. If that's intended to be a hard sci-fi, I would recommend you to add thermal radiators. They look like regular solar panels but glowing red because of heat. They are intended to prevent the overheating of the spaceship because there is no possibility of the thermal exchange in the vacuum. And the bigger is spaceship, the bigger it should be. -
