Not to be a nerd, but if this is a modern focused jet, the friction against air at any airspeed would be enough for an advanced AIM-9X to lock on. But would be easy to flare it off if you're not going mach 14
in my testing it (the pilot) can now survive the bomb detonating inside the aircraft, as well as occasionally survive a direct APHE missile to the engine, causing an explosion. the aircraft skin is rather resistant to dest and a fair amount will ricochet off of it. the only thing disabling the aircraft during all this currently is the battery overheating.
id:3116965 heres the unpolished version of the jet that got more attention than this one weirdly
I wasn't expecting you to fix it, actually. Nice improvement, although I liked the flaw in the wiring. I tried to find a scenario in which the pilot manages to stay uncooked before the DEUT spills out.
munastronaut:in the event of the bombs detonating in the bay, it now forces the bay doors open to vent the explosion outwards, and the extinguisher system prevents some fire from spreading, from my tests it no longer explodes, but if you wanna get technical, if you dont press the extinguisher button a few times, the pilot is cooked alive :p
interesting. i was concerned initally with the water extinguishers with all the electronics onboard and that tops it off for me. thanks
When you ignite the bombs in the bay, it initially seems the pilot is fine. However, after a while, the sparks from the explosion reach the engine, and triggers the sprinkler, which in turn sort of destroys the engine and also causes DEUT to spawn. Eventually, the neutrons do their thing and cause a nuclear explosion, destroying the pilot and the jet in the process. It's ironic, the jet's safety system tried to respond to a nonexistent threat, and destroyed the jet and the operator as a result.
