    when the graphite hit the reaction chambers there alot neutron hit graphite and cause sudden power spike and cause to heat up and make tonnes of steam that push the rod

    no input for operators would have stopped the runaway effect at that moment, it doesn't matter whether or not they pressed AZ-5 or not, the core was going prompt critical

    Chernobyl never happend if the USP rods inserted when AZ-5 was pressed. That was the issue ONLY chernobyl had. Because these rods would insert from the bottom to work against the positive scram effect (which wasn't just caused by the graphite tips, but also by the hot rods vaporizing water arround them making voiding stronger)
