    The Sun isn't big enough to blow itself to a supernova, there isn't enough mass to condense the core to a Neutron Star or a Black Hole. And to a matter of fact. it's about 4.5B Years.

    It would leave behind a neutron star or a black hole. Not a white dwarf because that is what happens to stars with similar mass to the sun.
