    one of the issues is the heat exchanger where the steam isnt moving to the pipe you could solve this by moving the water feed pipe higher and making it vertical so the rising steam from a water level can go in to the pipe really fast

    To "Why 0C PUMP lowered the temperature", the reaction speed of DEUT is proportional to pressure, so higher pressure is more likely to trigger it, vice versa.

    Meanwhile, you could lower the flowrate of DEUT or NEUT, or lower the life value of DEUT. All the above could also prevent an unbearable temperature.

    If you're suffering a meltdown, you could always try to add more coolant. Eventually it should end up in a balance point where it won't melt, and you don't need to make it pulse, but consistent.
