    Then how about just measuring the coolant temp? its right beside the ccore chamber anyhow.

    I can't do it physically, the sensors will destroy the pressure and temperature of the core.

    You could set the reactor on a timer, And just have a temperature sensor intterupt that timer if the core is above a certian threshold
