there is a worldwide push to regulate our lives further and prevent free speech. the UK online safety act was very quickly used for more than its stated purpose and censor protest footage and political opinions and there are similar acts being pushed for in america and europe. the future is going to be a bleak hypercapitalist cyperpunk dystopia and you are going to like it
