Builderbob101: The diamond will often be hit by heavy explosive artillery, which will shatter the entire shell of the mech that you payed trillions for.
-
Aeiouman: diamond is very good at holding things up but vulnerable to intense impacts so it will be covered this will be useful on artificial god
-
Diamond will vaporize before it melts.
-
If anything, using that alloy will make your mechs more vulnerable to overpressure.
-
Builderbob101: Gold is very flexible and melts at a low temperature, diamond can't be melted and will shatter upon impact. The diamond will also shatter while carrying the weight, diamonds are not like their Minecraft counterpart. Bedrock is not invincible IRL.
-
Destructionenjoyer: it's possible but weird
-
How do you alloy diamond? Its a crystal not a metal
-
Aeiouman: gold is very dense and diamond is for support
-
Builderbob101: You're better off trying to make a fully metal alloy than trying to put diamond in there, try titanium-iron-carbon-chromium-zinc
-
Builderbob101: WHERE are you getting these materials, steel is prone to overpressure, gold is flexible and useless, and diamond is probably the worst decision here.
