ALL> Many of you have simultaneously developed sugar rocket motors (Bob its not because of carbon is becuase of the size of the compound and the amount of H and O) and have started using glass as opposed to metal, giving you greater heights (>5km). Some rockets that went high enough were able to spot what appeared to be the other discworlds from higher altitudes

and a soda bottle is made of weak glass and / or plastic that melts easily and also burns. a good example of this craft is fireworks.
