This section in a line in the code "(!sim->parts[ID(r)].ctype || (sim->parts[ID(r)].ctype==c)" causes it to call the ctype and "check" for the ctype/it's effects if it were to have any. I chose warp because it moves particles so it causes "checks" but for ligh that typically does not apply unless certain other things happen.
-
the ctype of ligh has no effect on how it works, read the code: https://github.com/The-Powder-Toy/The-Powder-Toy/blob/master/src/simulation/elements/LIGH.cpp

empirical evidence is very strong evidence, i promise you i'm likely correct
-
lava(heac) does NOT conduct heat better
-
the insl incasing allows just a small amount of time that allows all the particles to go off before exploding, and it also elps the pressure push ot the particles more effectivley.
-
lava(heac) conducts heat better than other lavas, and once it cools, it lets the materials it's attached to more efficiently pick up heat.
-
grvt with tmp 100 causes it to act diffrent compared to noemal grvt, just try it and you will see.
-
ligh(warp) causes the game to re check the amount of particles in each area several extra times and it includes the ligh in those checks so it can cause it to form bhol from over layering. It typically is quite rare considering that ligh typically does not all go over exactly the same pixels, but when there are things like prot and grvt there it becomes more likley for the ligh(warp) to work.
-
as long as it explodes and melts stuff I'll use the bomb
-
"ligh(warp) does do something, it screws with particle layering and causes bhol to form from even non layered matirials. molten void works similarly to acid but once it cools it helps delete particles like merc, co2, and wtvr" from DRZOIDBERG or wahtever
