    We would start to expand further east into the desert, setting up piers on the desert shore and subsidizing the fishing industry to help incentivize settlement, granting huge charters of land to companies and fishers alike to settle in the coastal desert area.

    No the hornets adapted themself. These hornets are smarter. Bees actually use this exact behavior to kill intruders.
