If pscn absorbs all light that hits it, is pscn just a perfectly black color for things living in the powder toy?

AHyppyud: Then how do stickmen even know if it has a chance of being pscn or nscn?

Technomancer: As for your background oxygen theory, I don't think it would actually work that way unless we had a full atmosphere in the background with lots of gaseous nitrogen (which doesn't exist in the game) to stop the oxygen from just immediately exploding when you add fire. Also, the atmosphere would have to be constantly replenished or have oxygen able to burn without destroying the particle.

my eyessss

but it cant also see nscn so stkm will confuse pscn and nscn
-
stkm has just learned that a black abyss in electronics is pscn

A lot of stuff only makes sense if you assume that certain things are present and/or happening but just aren't shown to the player

The same thing is seen elsewhere in the game. Coal is always flammable even if there's no OXYG anywhere on the screen. Therefore there must also be 'background' oxygen that doesn't need to be modeled because it doesn't interact with anything (other than burning stuff, which works well enough for the game without requiring the oxygen to actually be modeled separately)

Assume that PHOT specifically represents photons that might transfer energy to/from another object. Other photons also exist but are not modeled (they don't need to be if they have no chance of affecting anything). Then it works.

Almost like this game wasn't a perfectly accurate model of real physics or something.....

but not invisible, the material must pass all photons through it to be invisible
