magic cant be explained so idk how i would explain magic in a realistic way, other than voodoo which some clim to exist, there is no true way magic exists, i could say mana crystals contain high levels of energy as they form on mountains and attract lightning bolts so mana is just energy contained inside the crystal which is used for the ammo for rifles and artillery, other than that i cant explain the blue forests unless they are native to my island as this is an alien planet

While total weather control is impossible, creating rain or localized hurricanes in like 2000 years into the future is fairly realistic. I don't know what they meant by using butterfly effect to do this but yeah.

if you give a good reason why they can control weather and i cant have simple magic then i wont do magic but it is a big part of the nations lore
