upd hydrogen doesn't fuse, just burns, the helium is likely from whatever this guy was doing before
figured it out, the warp creates electrons which interact with deuterium to make more of itself, which is used to lowly sustain a neutron population which doesn't run away because of pressure off and the low deut life, the electrons also join with hydrogen to fuse sometimes
