Finally, the rain is done. It's not perfect, but I think it's about as good as it could be. Thanks for all the up votes.

    Thanks for all the suggestions, I fixed the clouds, and I'm going to work on having some ground, too.

    lightning only requires the ground to ground itself. other wise the ground has nothing to do with it. not impossible

    ammmm I think ground will make it slower or laggy for most of people useing older computers

    oh, and you should draw ground because there can't be lightning without the earth, it would be impossible. :D

    the timming is so realistic :D it's awsome :) but you could put some more detail in the clouds :P like dmnd outline and smoke in the middle :P hide the dmnd :P with decoration
