This is a quasar I made. It took 40 mins to make but it was worth it. you can copy BUT you must give credit please. I hope you like it. Check out my other creations related to astronomy. user:JM697796

A gamma ray burst, on the other hand is when a generally new balck hole gravitates too much matter and it can't absorb it all, so, along with an extreme amount of energy created from this as well, it expels the exess matter it can't absorb in a violent release of gamma rays, basically being a baby black hole burp. Both are very similar, just in slightly differing circumstances.

Okay, a quasar is when a black hole is gravitating so much matter in such a high volume that all the matter swirling around and into the black holke produces and extreme amount of friction, and the energy from this friction is released in a violent burst of light.

I thought quazars were sort of a middle ground where a star collapses but doesn't have enough mass to compress into a singularity?

there are many types of quazer, this one is the type that are black holes that form in the center of a dyeing star, and devour it then super nova leaving a black hole behind. science lesson done.

GUYS! A quasar is a black hole in the middle of a galaxy that absorbed too much gasses, so it releases them in a violent laser beam thing. It does this so it can absorb more gasses. By the way, I'm thinking if the black hole in the middle of our galaxy eats all the Hydrogyn and other gasses, it may suck up our solar system, and possibly all of the galaxy and spurt it out to other corners of the universe. But I'm not sure.

No, it is a Quasar. A pulsar is just a Neutron star that spins around.
