This isn't realistic. A nuclear power plant connected directly to a house? I don't think so. The high voltage power lines are to reduce the loss while transporting electricity. the voltage is then stepped down from 1000 kv (1,000,000 volts) to 750 thousand, then 500 thousand, then 300 thousand, all the way down to 10-20 thousand volts. All of this is done via substations. -
