    @iamdarkness You're wrong too. Our sun is WAY to small to turn into a black hole but it will turn into a red giant and then into a white dwarf.

    @Domnu actually a white dwarf occurs when a small star dies yes but our sun is large enough to become a red giant then turn into a black hole after the red giant stage dies

    no black hole only occurs when a supergiant star goes super nova. whit dwarves occur when a star like our sun dies.

    Fun fact: Supernovas are different from explosions from, say, TNT, in that the blast is caused by gravitational waves, not by a chemical reaction.
