    I need to learn more. Do they sell explosives at airhaven? I'd love to buy some artillery shells. Or mortar explosives. Hope they have insurance.

    XD no, the envelope is an aviator's term for the "balloon" at the top of an airship (zepelin). it's not a balloon because it isn't airtight and doesn't hold any pressure, it is a sac (usually waterproof cloth) that houses the gasbags. (the gasbags are the airtight balloons that hold the lifting gas (hydrogen or helium) and are supported by a mesh of cables and poles just under the envelope.

    THAT's in the book... but it's a ring of envelopes... i've actually made it wrong so it looks better for tpt.. it's a single-tiered ring shaped town, built on ultra-lightweight deckplates.
