    If a new save gets votes really fast, that means it's suddenly popular at the moment, so it goes up fast. Once the speed slows down, they slowly drift off. Saves with 3-5 votes do sometimes get up there, and then there is the deciding moment, whether it stays or gets voted off. It is based on views and votes, and the speed of those. More votes in less views is also better since that means a higher % liked it after viewing

    so exactly, how does fp work? (as in about how all the saves woth a few votes go up really fast)

    it probably is because the photon reflection code is really weird, but rewritting it might cause problems, so I don't think anything would be done.
