Type in the search bar on the forums, setwifi.lua. If you dont know how to use it, just ask.
Could you just tell me the title, and the section the forum post is in? Thanks so much, this is going to make life a lot easier! (I thought I was going to have to heat wifi up manually to up to 5000 degrees like, 10 times for my slot machine :D)
Ok, sure. I'm going to see how the lua script for wifi works. Thanks!
actually, I think Simon said no at one point too. (maybe he said it's too powerful, and not everyone knows how to use the console)
I have a lua script to do wifi channels. It's on the forums. I would link to it, but tpt++ has a bug that breaks it that I still need to fix. (it works, but the wifi won't conduct ): ). I will fix that eventually. CMND was rejected, jacksonmj is very against it, I don't know about Simon. I said in the thread I was making it in my mod, I've had it planned a long time. It will only do !old commands, to prevent viruses and stuff like that (which can be made with lua, I could delete C:/windows very easily in tpt++ (actually, maybe one line)
A breakable DTEC won't be made, I think I asked about making it breakable once, and we agreed not to. I am the one that made it anyway. I'm more of a cheat element, that's all I was thinking when making it. The toiletpaper tag still works because I didn't delete it from working, maybe someone made toiletpaper and wanted to tag it? ..... it wasn't inappropriate like the other tags the other person made were. (only responding to bottom half now will post then read the rest of the comments before this gets too long)
Those were both suggested dom2mom. Me and jacob1 use a lua code for the wifi channeling. Thats how I did my typewriter.
@jacob1, The dust thing works now. I think it was just acting up. Sometimes the mac version gets really glitchy, but if you open and close it, its normal again :)
Also, an element that performs a set consle command when sparked would be great.
I think a tool to change the channel of wifi would make life so much eaiser. Instead of sitting around waiting for the wifi to heat up, or cool down, you just click to change the channel. left click changes the channel down, right click changes it up. Or even better, a menu pops up, where it asks you what temp you want to put the wifi at. This could also be used on thigns other then wifi, kinda like a presicion, super quick heat tool. It would make making eletronics that depend on high temperature 1 pixel pieces of wifi much easier to make.
