jacob1: oh yes, hexchat is very nice :)
-
jacob1: Not sure how I reminded you of that but whatever :P So you mean minechat runs outside of minecraft, but lets you chat through it? That seems so pointless....
-
LUA is too complicated for me :(. I wish i can make my own scripts.
-
Tron205: You literally just described the lua console. There can be a learning curve for the api, but here is a page that might help you create new elements: https://powdertoy.co.uk/Wiki/W/Lua_API:Elements.html

PortalPlayer: And I use hexchat. Probably the best client out there. And minechat I had to google too, it seems to be a chatting app for android through minecraft. Sounds like a terrible idea for this server since we already have an IRC relay. But I can see why it might exist for some servers ... Also yes we have a creative server now at creativemc.starcatcher.us.
-
PortalPlayer: it is on freenode, where channels unrelated to a project have to have two hashes. But this channel is related to a project kind of ... the main reason is that someone already registered #powder-mc :|. And wow, you just made me realize, Simon has access in that channel. Maybe he could give it to me. But i'm not sure I want to change at this point. We haven't switched back to #powder-bots either even though someone gave me +F

sup jacob!

element idea: CSTM aka Custom. You can give any properties to it. You can even make your own property using scripts.
-
Also, pardon my ignorance, but what is minechat? And did you say there is a creative server? Although I just set up a local server to play with my friends :P explosivepowder: I'd say graphics card stuff makes it bad :P

Wait, ##powder-mc? Why two hashes? And speaking of IRC, what client do you use? I just visited #xkcd through a web browser client which works ok, just wondering what could work for windows? Speaking of which, I should get back onto #xkcd... (I joined under the name Derpy-Herpes :P)
