I'm pretty sure Feynman's Mod fixes your sign problemos. He made it so signs can be infinitely long. I ahem SUGGEST cough cough his mod. He hasn't been active for a while. Neither has GLaDOS/mecha-man... The good times have fallen... -

yes, that is totally why we picked 16 as the limit -
