    It's made of an alloy of vibranium and adamantium. All the vibranium that was once on Earth at the time of the shield being built, according to the engineers who developed it (comic wise), is part of Cap's shield. It DOES have adamantium but it's mainly vibranium. So... you're wrong.

    correction, captain america's shield is actually made out of adamantium, i don't even read the comics and i know this, seriously.

    Apparently if you leave Captain America's shield "accidentaly" in an incinerator, it will start to glow. Then the paint comes off and it turns blue and then... then... then..! THEN!!! It just goes back to normal but looks brighter..... yeaaaaaahhhhh. SOOOO cooollllll. *Sarcasm leaks out of mouth*
