Opt-In to Beta Updates

Perhaps in the future we could allow users to enable in-game updates to the beta version, either through the profile menu online or within the options menu in-game. This would prevent the hassle of having to download a new beta version from the site and manually replace the old version.

When there is a new beta or a new version, there should be a little yellow text box in the game that reads "A new beta is available, Click Here!" or "A new version is available, Click Here!"
There are also notifications for new conversations.

well if you update the beta version to a standard version you cant go back to beta without downloading a beta

Then don't update the beta to a standard...? Only update the standard to the standard and beta to the beta...?
Seriously, I'm sensing huge gaps of logic and reasoning. Considering you can't even publish from the beta, it makes more sense to save the beta version and the standard version on your PC and update each one to their respective versions, thus allowing you to try out the beta and still allow yourself to publish your creations.
