They won't if you guys won't stop spamming the total shite out of it.

Also it would help quite alot if you had some reasons they SHOULD unlock it:

    • It helps us connect with eachother more
    • The storyline was quite good
    • We can figure out how to create better writting from help from others who are better at it
    • The storyline never got finished
    • The characters were likeable(-ish)
    • It improved creative skill

    And was just cool.

Now, now. Let's not point fingers here.

Everyone had fueled the fire in some sort of way.

In case it doesn't come back, Factorial made a group about it: https://powdertoy.co.uk/Groups/Page/View.html?Group=1188

I think you should probably PM a mod instead if the game thread that you are talking about doesn't deserve getting locked. Maybe making a thread asking to unlock it will cause some people to get hated on (which is not a good thing) if it was their fault.

The reason I locked it is because over half of the post were offtopic / spam / arguing. There were two people (you until you quit on page 16, and Hitlersucks) that were actually writing stories, but nobody else really was.

Also it seemed kind of similar to the warfare strategies game, and that game was going much better.

    Similar to the WST thread?

    How it isn't similar:

    • They're stories about individual people, not entire nations
    • No organized conflict, just getting put in a warzone and saying 'good luck, with that'
    • No nations
    • And... err... Okay I got nothing.

Similar in principle, not in actuality. It was the same type of game, one where each person contributes to a story line in which disasters and other unforseen events may take place. It was essentially a copycat of WST, just with some different wiring.
