Why is this?

    I've wondered this since the first day the "powered materials" menu came out. Why is switch not in there? It's powered,and does something while powered. So basically my idea is to put switch in the powered materials menu.

    ::EDIT:: opinions are appreciated.

    So I checked and HSWC and SWCH are impervious to every explosive besides bomb. I don't know if thats what you meant by "some kind of shield".

    Powered materials as you can see actually do something like make air pressure, gravity, ect. Switch wouldn't fit in that category. That is why switch isn't in the powered menu.

    yes it does, but it doesnt fall in the category because it doesnt do anything as far as creating something. even hswc creates a shield. but switch doesnt create something, it just transfers something when activated.

    By the sounds of it, the powered menu's only entry requirement is that it is powered of which both Switch and HSWC meet.

    Exactly if it wasn't a powered material then why do u need something to activate it?
