I think that codeing experience can help, but is unnecessary.

For a tip: read the wiki.

@cctvdude99 what do you mean derp -_-

@jenn4 mm well you can code them in both c++ and c (you can open it in c++ as far as i know) but the difference between c++ and c is not that big also in the c++ compiler the language of c can still be used

    MasterMind555:

    2. TPT is coded in C ( Even though if you can use Visual Studio C++ to compile it )

Why does that matter? If TPT is coded in C, it's coded in C, not C++; so why would you need to learn C++ instead of C?
Just because C can be used in a C++ compiler doesn't mean you should learn C++, especially when the game is coded in C.
    Your logic is incredibly warped.

because the maker of this thread ask's for help for c++   HUGE FACEPALM

also if you want to make more games c++ is more generally used than c in game industry.

Give me one quote by the author of the thread that says he wants help with C++.

And you're still missing the point, right.
    TPT is coded in C.
    Not C++.
With any normal person's logic, that means you need to learn C, not C++.
Wtih your logic, it is the other way round.

Please, explain how your logic works. It intrigues me.

You got the point. If I learn c++ well I will be frustrated when I try to mod, because I can't use object orientation and now we can continue this discussion on other thread or on #powder-social and get back on topic, please.

i thought that because of the "i'm installing C++" line.

but your right if you only want to mod for tpt you could better learn C but i stated if you want to do more then just mod tpt.
and no i didn't missed the point of you but i hope you understand why i thought he mean't that.
