After looking at these I feel the urge to go try to create one myself. I'll post it here when It's finished. I was thinking maybe a gun using yeast with no clones. I would have the yeast grow in one area and then be pulled into another to be superheated and then fired in a pulse perhaps. Would this be feasible or does anyone have some suggestions?
you should look into the effect we've been playing around with using heated oil
if you heat it (it has to start slowly at first until it vaporizes into GAS and then reforms into OIL again) in a container (id suggest wall as it blocks in pressure) then it generates A LOT of pressure and in a wall container theres nothing to conduct the heat to so it stays at whatever temp you left it and can be used to create a pressure "pulse"
I'll look into the oil thing when I get around to that part of the cannon.
Okay so I got completely side tracked while working on the yeast cannon but here is what I have so far of it. Most of this time since I first posted was spent experimenting on metal element's thermal properties when you send sparks through it and things of that nature. :P
@JoshinatorKy(View Post) I care. And I think it's really good. I love the system used to produce the yeast and then the various stages after. Although, it'd be wise to add some boyle gas into the oil-pressure generator if you were anticipating that pressure is saved. Which it isn't. It'll add pressure to start the reaction with out using AIR.
@ubuntupokemoninc(View Post) I think that may technically be a none incendiary explosive instead of a gun. Cool though. Oh and I know this isn't related but It isn't a big enough deal to start a whole new thread for. I just thought of this little electronic component. Not really sure if anyone has already done this before but I wanted to post it just in case.
