    Glass is like this, but really if your photons are destroying the glass, you're doing something wrong. : P

     

    If not, then just make a mechanism to cool the light before it gets there.

    The problem is that he wants to do cool stuff with hot lasers. Using prism then heating device is a bit hard, and using heating device before prism makes photons melt the it.

    Doesn't making a not-melting glass ruin the fun then? : P We all have this problem.

    Neh, filter already does a lot of what is being described or something similar in use, how about making PRSM do something new?

    Maybe make it shoot out rainbows?
