How many good uses can this be for?

    It's more pink. And a yellow post is yours. If you posted the thread then you see all your posts as yellow not red.

    This wouldn't be really usefull for heat generation because it's very unstable with high heat fluctuations and dies out after a minute.

    Good save, but the heat generated is uncontrollably high. Morover, it requires ambient heat to be on. It would fry and heat anything else on screen along with it. So i don't think anything is possible except for targets for it to melt...
