No OS sucks. It's all about preference. It's what a person needs or wants out of a machine. The different OSs have different pros and cons and it all depends on the person using it as to whether it's a good OS or not. I repeat again: No OS sucks.

Linux - Fantastic for the guy who wants to write everything into the terminal "sudo make me a sandwich"
OSX - Fantastic for media design and feeling sexually attracted to your machine
Windows - Fantastic for anything you want to do, as long as you have a good knowledge on how to keep your windows working

EDIT: Is image tag broken or am I doing something wrong?
I feel special because I'm one of the 15% of the people in the world who understand this.

Enjoy this image I made :D

Hehe, your image tells the truth about these OSs so well. Though, in Ubuntu Linux we get this fun little graphical package management tool called synaptic:

    Step 1: open synaptic
    step 2: search for "Firefox"
step 3: mark firefox package for install
step 4: click "apply marked changes" button

step 3.5: if you have opened synaptic in the first place, you might as well click the "mark all upgrades" button while you're at it.

EDIT: I still use the terminal for some things. "sudo apt-get install packageName"
