    Irl, a piece of red glass blocks all the colours execpt for red. This applies to green and blue glass. if you put 2 different coloured pieces of glass together, one after the other, then all light is blocked.

    You could just carefully experiment with bouncing photons off of colored substances to achieve the colors you want.


    ...Or use heated Glow to achieve a similar but more expensive effect.

    this would be a simple somewhat user friendly way of achieving any color it is brilliant
