You could maybe provide 'alpha' versions the same way one would publish a mod, and have a stickied thread. Then @Simon could come and do an official pull whenever he can, without people having to complain about no updates.

Internet Relay Chat. Just an online chatting system that TPT has a channel on (The channel is #powder). Just download a chat client that supports IRC freenode or just do it on the online site.
