In times like these, America is the worst place to go. No, I think during war...Russia is the best place to go. If America arms Ukraine against the pro-Russian forces now...Amerca's screwed.

Actually, I dont think Russia would stand much of a chance :/ Hitler lost the Russian campaign because he was a backstabbing idiot who actually chose to fight Russia (who he made a nonaggressian pact with) in the middle of his fight on the western front. If he'd stayed out of Russia, and sent his troops to the western front to combat the allies, the war could have ended VERY differently.

Hitler could have been very successful, but the allies sent every concievable millltary vehicle to russia in aid and Stalin got his army to the front quicker than expected (probably due to the fact that if losing 10000 men would get the rest there faster, he would take the opportunity). America wuld not be such a great place, they work long hours for not much money, have no real welfare or universal health provision, and everything they eat seems to be made of sweetcorn. Russia is a nice place to visit, but with all the news censorship, catastrophic economy, nationalism and homophobia you wouldn't want to live there. I would probably go for a northern or western European nation, you would have less to worry about.

Well, if people didn't decide winter was the best time to invade the largest and possibly coldest country on Earth, maybe Russia could be invaded.

The Japanese and the Mongols were pretty effective, and t 34s are no garuantee if you are fighting Finland. The large size of Russia does lend itself to a large (possibly quite corrupt) bureaucracy and since this thread was supposed to be where do you like rather than how to invade cold places, I would reiterate that I would not like it due to all of the social problems.
