See boxmein's post in this thread, by clicking "open data folder" it will show you where the powder toy data folder is.

Can you give more details? What part didn't work? It should open windows explorer to the right directory. Does explorer (file browser) open? What directory does it open to?

It brings me to C:\Users\Simon\Desktop on explorer, which is just the shortcuts on my desktop and nothing else

So is Powder.exe on your desktop? Do you go there to start TPT and double click it?

If so, that means powder toy is on your desktop, and the data folder for TPT is also on your desktop. Your powder.pref and any stamps / saves should also be in folders on there somewhere.

I do have the saves in a folder on desktop, but no other folders. Thing is, though, I was able to do this with some other downloadable games, like FNAF World, if I remember correctly.

What would the data folder be called, anyway?

TPT Doesn't have a "real" data folder because we haven't made it yet (Except on macs). It uses the current directory as a data folder. I suggest putting Powder.exe in its own folder with nothing else next to it. You can right click it and create a shortcut for your desktop, if you like.

After you do that, copy powder.pref, and the Saves/ and stamps/ directories to the new folder, if they exist.
