    Okay so i managed to fix the problem by simply just updating.
    My windows update service was off since i got my laptop (because it used to take up too much space) so when i finally updated the gallery started working again
    I might have fixed my own problem myself but still thanks lol

    Yes that is the way to fix this on windows 10. This thread is about windows 7 which doesn't get updates anymore.
