    Wait...there is an arrow at the top, but it's grayed out. In case it isn't obvious, I'm a beginner at programming . Any ideas?

    Have you been following the tutorial on the wiki? For setting up GitHub and VC++?

    To compile you must open PROJECT in VSC++, no single source code or header file. If You Have Project Opened just click green arrow

    I feel like an idiot. Admittedly, I only read the article on how to do the actual coding, not the VC++ setup. I get it now. Hopefully I'll learn from this experience.
